Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most famous role was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the stage. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at TV and films. In 1992, Anna landed her first big part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as an actor in handful of TV movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies were also starring her. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. The actress starred as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and final break-up echoes the last years of Walter White's story.
